Jones Family Reunion

We went to the Jones Family reunion This past weekend.  The past few years it has been at Aunt Andreas in South Jordan, UT.  She has a big enough house and yard to accommodate all the travelers.  It is so nice of her to open her home up to us all.
We had a great time!  The kids swam  non stop with exception to food and potty brakes.  Addison surprised us all and jumped off the diving board.  She even jumped off backwards!  She has come leaps and bounds from last summer.
After Addison showed us how brave she was, of course Eden had to too!  She also jumped off the diving board (I didn't have my camera).  But she couldn't let her sister show her up :). We were so impressed and surprised by both of them.
Of course Ty man enjoyed the water too.
Friday night we watched a movie outside with a projector.   Most of the kids fell asleep during the movie. . . Not my kids!  They were up until 11pm.
Luckily we slept in Andreas dark theater room, so the kids slept in the next morning.
Saturday The kids played on this thing most of the day
Marshall and I couldn't resist trying it out too
There was another bouncy house.  Eden spent a lot of time in this one.
Eden and Grandma
Grandmother Jones with a few of her great grand kids.  She is 85 years old.  The reunion is planned for the first week of June every year because Granddad Jones birthday is June 9th.  He would have been 89 years old this year.  His children spent some time talking about him as they were the only ones to remember him where he died at such a young age.  My dad was only in his twenties when his dad died.  It was good to hear stories of him.  I look forward to meeting him someday.  He has left a great posterity.

Field Trip

Addison's class went to the Pocatello zoo for a field trip.  I went to "help" but I took Eden and Ty in the double stroller too so I wasn't much help really.  Besides the fact that it was pouring rain, we had a great time.  Poor Addy slipped and got muddy a couple times.  We were all soaked.  Ty and Eden stayed pretty dry under the stroller.

I think Addison had a lot of fun, minus the slipping :)

Addison's dance recital

This year was Addison's first year in dance class.  She took from Copes studio here in American Falls.  Her class was ballet/tap.  She really liked it.  She had her year end recital. Her ballet dance was called little red wagon and her tap dance was called the barnyard boogie.
She really practiced hard and did so well!  She practiced at home and by the year end recital Eden knew both routines too. She loved having both her Grandmas at her recital to watch her.  She was beaming with excitement!
She loved having Isabella, one of her friends from preschool last year, in her class.
