We have a Crawler

Ty started army crawling at about 7 months.  He would drag his body around by pulling his body weight with his arms.
He was getting really good at getting where he wanted to be by army crawling.  The last few weeks he did this little move a lot
And then today he crawled for real. A normal hand and knee crawl.  He is 8 months old.  we were at Marshall's uncle's Ranch in Swan Valley.  Abby was taunting Ty to crawl by waving a wooden spoon in front of him and he just crawled like he had been doing it all along.  It was very random!  It's funny how all of a sudden babies just learn how to do things out of the blue.  I'm scarred of him being really mobile now. . .

Ag Day

I helped with the MAC (moving agriculture into classrooms) presentation today.  It is for the third graders at the elementary schools. There was a short presentation about dairies and cows.  Then, the students got to milk a fake cow.  Then they got to shake cream into butter and eat it on saltine crackers.  My kids came with me for the last hour.
Addy milking the cow.  It is actually water that comes out of the utters not milk.
Eden milking the cow.  Both my girls asked if they could go home and milk our cows.  I told them our cows probably wouldn't cooperate like this cow.
Eden with her butter she shook from cream.  Addy liked the butter a lot.  She shook 2 and ate them both.

Eden's preschool program

Eden's last day of preschool was Thursday. That evening was her program.  Several times after school she told me how excited she was for her program.
At the beginning of the program, the kids introduced themselves in a microphone. They each said their name, their parents names, and their favorite thing about preschool.  Eden said her favorite thing about preschool was the snack. :) Then the kids sang about 10 songs that they had learned throughout the year.  Eden sang so loud. You could hear her above all the other kids.  It made me laugh and also surprised me because she is usually quite timid in front of large groups.
Lastly, the teachers presented each child with a certificate for finishing their first year of preschool.
The class "posing" for a big group picture.  The teacher gave them all a stuffed animal with their certificate.  Eden got a cow.
